Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions define the rights and obligations of KEPTIX and its clients regarding technical supervision, preventive maintenance and contractor coordination services.

1. Purpose

KEPTIX provides: technical visits, visual inspections, readings, simple preventive maintenance, opening/closing for contractors, follow-up visits, reports and general technical assistance.

The company is not a construction business and does not provide structural works or any service requiring a ten-year structural warranty.

2. Subscription and duration

Services are offered as monthly subscriptions, renewed automatically unless cancelled by either party

3. Included services

• Technical visits according to the selected plan.
• Visual inspection of the building and accessible installations.
• Written reports after each visit.
• Water/electricity readings when accessible.
• Opening/closing for contractors (depending on plan).
• Exceptional post-storm visits (depending on plan).

4. Excluded services

The following are not included:

• Repairs, heavy technical work or construction tasks.
• Property rental or holiday management (Airbnb, seasonal rentals).
• Emergency interventions beyond simple checks.
• Travel outside the defined area (possible travel fee).

5. Client obligations

• Provide safe access to the property.
• Inform the company of any risks, ongoing works or significant changes.
• Maintain appropriate home insurance.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the property.

6. Liability

KEPTIX performs visual, non-intrusive inspections only. The company cannot be held liable for:

• hidden defects or internal issues not visible during a visual inspection;
• damage occurring between two visits;
• issues caused by contractors or third parties;
• weather-related damage, storms or natural events.

The company is covered by professional liability insurance.

7. Pricing and payment

Prices are expressed in euros, VAT included. Payments are monthly by bank transfer

8. Late payment

Payments more than 15 days late may result in suspension of services.

9. Withdrawal right

Individual consumers benefit from a 14-day withdrawal period, unless the service has already begun at their request.

10. Force majeure

Neither party shall be held liable in the event of force majeure, such as storms, natural disasters or major network outages.

11. Confidentiality

Any information shared by the client (codes, plans, locations) is strictly confidential.

12. Data protection

Only voluntarily provided personal data is collected. No data is sold or shared with third parties.

13. Applicable law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Auch (France).
