Who we are

KEPTIX was born from a simple observation: rural second homes in the Gers require the same level of technical monitoring as a main residence, but their owners often live far away and lack a trusted local representative.

Our role is to become your technical trusted third party. We do not handle holiday rentals or tourist services, and we take no commission from contractors. Our decisions are guided solely by the long-term condition of your property and the control of risks (leaks, frost, humidity, pests, outages…).

In practice, we apply an engineering and project-management approach: scheduled visits, checklists, documented reports, photos and follow-up on corrective actions. You keep a clear picture of your property’s condition, even from several hundred kilometres away.

Why should I have my second home monitored?

A house left empty for weeks is exposed to leaks, frost damage, humidity, pests and potential intrusions. Regular technical visits help detect issues early, avoid major damage and give you a clear view of your property’s condition.

How is KEPTIX different from a classic concierge service?

We do not provide holiday rentals, cleaning or tourist services. KEPTIX focuses exclusively on technical surveillance, preventative maintenance and contractor supervision. We do not live off commissions: our role is purely to represent you from a technical standpoint, in full independence.

Do you intervene after storms or weather alerts?

Yes. Depending on the package you choose, we can attend the property after a weather alert (heavy rain, strong winds, hail, prolonged frost) to visually inspect the building, roofs and surroundings, and send you a written report.

I live abroad. How do we communicate?

Many of our clients are based outside France. We communicate by email, phone or video call. After each visit, you receive a written report with photos so you can decide from a distance which actions to take.

Can you work with my usual contractors?

Yes. If you already have trusted contractors, we can coordinate interventions with them (opening, closing, visual check at the end of works). If not, we can suggest contacts depending on the type of work required.
